The Wyoming Association of Professional Landmen Scholarship Committee is pleased to announce the 2023 Scholarship Program and invite all WAPL Members and dependents of WAPL member who are pursuing post-secondary educational opportunities at a certified school, to apply for a 2023 WAPL Scholarship.
The Scholarships Available This Year Are:
1. General Area of Study – Maximum of $1,000.00
2. Energy Business (e. g. Geologist, Petroleum Engineer) – Maximum of $2,000.00
3. Professional Land Management – Maximum of $3,000.00
4. University of Wyoming, Professional Land Management – Maximum of $5,000.00
Join your fellow WAPL members for some fun and fishing on the North Platte River this summer.
The cost is $300/per person for WAPL Member or $325/person Non WAPL Member based on double boat angler occupancy and includes lunch and non-alcoholic beverages.
The fishing and float trip will be provided by the Crazy Rainbow Fly Fishing service in Casper. Fishing equipment and expertise will be provided by the outfitter. There will be prizes for the biggest rainbow, brown and cutthroat trout. Please register by March 3rd to reserve your spot. Space is limited.
WAPL is holding a WAPL Christmas Match program for WAPL Members.
You can double the impact with your holiday donation this year. It's easy! Just make a donation to one of 4 approved charities and WAPL will match it.
The WOGCC announced emergency pooling rule changes December 14, 2021, that were effective immediately.
Pooling Rule: The Commission approved the emergency rule for pooling at the December 2021 hearings. The emergency rule can be found here.
An updated pooling order has been finalized. It can be found here or by going to the Hearings tab above and clicking on Application and Orders Templates.
Additionally, the Commission voted to open standard rulemaking for pooling, amending Chapters 3 & 5. There will be a public comment period during the rulemaking process. Please watch the WOGCC website for updates.
